The Great Fire of St. Aloysius
Today Year Two were so lucky to have such a fun and exciting end to our Great Fire of London topic. Mrs Crawford was extremely kind and came to help us with a fire in the Secret Garden. We all sat around the fire pit and we watched some cardboard houses burn in the fire. We were amazed at how quickly the fire spread and we remembered that it was exactly the same during the Great Fire of London because of the houses being made from wood. We took a moment to think about how important it is to stay safe around fires and to not play with anything that may cause a fire. What a fun afternoon we had!
