Keeping Emotionally Healthy

Throughout this challenging time many individuals and families may require additional support emotionally, financially or with their physical health. Please do not hesitate to contact us using our confidential email address; familysupport@st-aloysius.co.uk   for advice, information and further support for yourself or your family.

We recognise that is such a difficult time for many children and families, and have considered ways in which we can support our families to stay emotionally healthy.

We have included some useful links and resources to support both pupils and families during this time.  We will be continuing to update the resources over the coming weeks.

Kooth November 2021:

Story Time: We Are Heroes

Click on the link below to view the latest edition from this series.
This edition is themed ‘Families together and apart’ – featuring The Battle for Troy & Romulus and Remus.

Each issue of We Are Heroes contains myths and legends that have parallels to lockdown experiences that children could be facing, with additional activities produced in consultation with a children’s mental health expert.

Our Weekly Keeping Emotionally Healthy Challenge

The activity for this week is the M&M feelings game.  Your challenge is to play the M & M game. It’s a great way to get the whole family talking about the different emotions they feel and ways to manage those big and small feelings.

Keeping Emotionally Healthy Week

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our families who participated in our Keeping Emotionally Healthy Week.  We loved looking at the photos which were sent in to see just how amazing and kind you have all been.  We are so thankful to be a part of such a loving and kind community.  Please find attached some of the fantastic contributions we had during Keeping Emotionally Healthy Week.
