Year 2 had a ‘cracking’ time in Green Treat today, competing in a jarping competition. They were all good sports and cheered on their friends. Well done to our winners.

Last week, Year Four spent time thinking about the current situation around the world and decided that they would like to send some love and support to the people of Ukraine to encourage them to keep going and have hope. They created some beautiful cards which are going to be sent out to Ukraine in the hope that they will bring with them a sense of optimism and the fact that they know that they are supported and loved.
Year Four, we are so proud of how thoughtful you are!

Today Miss Fawcett class and Mrs Cawthorn/Mrs Balfour’s class had a brilliant time with local artist Laura Brenchley working on a project for Nexus. They were each given a piece of cardboard and had to use magazines to collage a picture onto it. They worked so hard and had some fantastic ideas! Each tile will be collaged together and used to make a display in local Metro Stations later this year. We can’t wait to see them!

Please find attached a newsletter regarding World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March and our school Readathon week which is starting today.
We would encourage all children to participate in the Readathon and ask that all sponsor money is handed to school first.

Today we are celebrating Safer Internet Day and to support with this, we have prepared a parent guide to keeping your child safe online. Please take time to read through this careful and speak to a member of school staff should you have any questions.
