In Computing in Year Five, we have spent the last few weeks investigating algorithms further. We have learnt about repeat and loop commands and variables as well as becoming experts in debugging our code to iron out errors. Using scratch, the children were able to make their own timer this week. They created their own variable and named it timer before writing the algorithm and testing it on the sprite. They were also able to do this unplugged (off programmes and computers) too!
