Anti-bullying in Year 3

19th February 2021 By Admin Linda

Today in Year 3 we watched a video which explained what a bully is and also the different kinds of bullying. We then focused on the qualities of a good friend and the importance of friendship. We each wrote how we can be a good friend on a strip of card and these were joined together to make a friendship chain. We discussed the importance of being a good friend so that the friendship chain does not break!
After this, we watched a video about ‘making a positive footprint’ and we thought about the many ways that we can do this and, in turn, help people who may be feeling sad, lonely or who are being bullied. We wrote our positive messages on footprints and hope that when people read them they will feel empowered and realise how important they are.
