At St. Aloysius, we have two prayer rooms.
The junior Prayer Room opened in September 2014. Within the Prayer Room there are four stained glass windows; our past pupils were instrumental in the design process.
The infant Prayer Room opened in November 2024 and we used a space in school that is perfect for calmness and reflective.
Both are used on a daily basis by different groups of children. Class liturgies and masses take place in the calm and thought provoking environments that the Prayer Rooms provide.
On a lunch time the pupils can attend Prayer sessions. These include praying the Rosary, liturgical dance and quiet reflective prayer time.
Staff use the Prayer spaces to reflect privately or join together in group prayer.
