Year Two would like to say a big ‘THANK YOU’ to the Young Leaders from St Joseph’s Catholic Academy for coming into school to teach us some great dances to a few Christmas songs. We had lots of fun!

Today Year Two were so lucky to have such a fun and exciting end to our Great Fire of London topic. Mrs Crawford was extremely kind and came to help us with a fire in the Secret Garden. We all sat around the fire pit and we watched some cardboard houses burn in the fire. We were amazed at how quickly the fire spread and we remembered that it was exactly the same during the Great Fire of London because of the houses being made from wood. We took a moment to think about how important it is to stay safe around fires and to not play with anything that may cause a fire. What a fun afternoon we had!

Year Two loved their P.E. lessons with Mrs Conway last half term, they made great progress and worked extremely hard. Well done Year Two, we are super proud of you!
In Year Two we have been learning about what makes a healthy diet. We have learnt about the main food groups that we need to include in our diet and why they are important. In class, we prepared a healthy pasta salad and some of our friends at home have been helping prepare meals with their families. We’ve had so much fun!
