The Year Two children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle as part of their history topic.  They were excited to visit the Discovery Museum, where they were able to go back in time and recall events which took place during 1854.  They especially enjoyed dressing up as children of that time period and reenacting the events that took place that day by performing in a puppet show.
