The Eco Warriors Litter Picking

Today The Eco Warriors have been working very hard to look after our school environment.  They were amazing as they went around school clearing up all the litter.  By the time The Eco Warriors had finished they had collected two big bags of rubbish.  A fantastic effort well done!

This week Nursery have been reading Jasper’s Beanstalk and have enjoyed planting lots of beans in the greenhouse.  They are very exited to take care of them and watch them grow.

Eco Warriors

Chinese New Year

This week in nursery we have been learning all about Chinese New Year.  This year, it is the Year of the Snake, and we have been listening to the story of the Great Chinese Race.  We have been very busy making yummy Chinese stir fry with noodles.  We have also created an amazing dragon and made up our own dragon dance to music.   Finally, we had lots of fun counting coins into our lucky red money wallets.

Eco Warriors

The Tiger Who Came To Tea

This week Nursery have enjoyed reading The Tiger Who Came To Tea.  The children have have been making their own sandwiched, biscuits and invitations for their tea party.  They even invited the Tiger and made him a huge plate of food.

Toothbrushing in Nursery

Nursery Nativity

Well done to the Nursery children who shared their Christmas Nativity with their friends and family this afternoon.  They did an amazing performance as they sang and danced, we are so proud of them!

Road Safety in Nursery

This week Melissa visited Nursery to talk about Road Safety.  We talked about holding hands when we cross the road, how we need to Look, Listen and Think, and how to use a Pelican Crossing.  We even took turns to role play crossing the road with a Lollipop Person.
