Last week, the children in Year Two were so lucky to have a visit from an adorable owl called Ollie. The children discovered lots of new facts about the owl and they were fascinated when they found out that owls do not drink any water! The children enjoyed holding Ollie and they were all extremely sensible by being quiet to make sure that they did not scare the animals. They also enjoyed meeting a snake, a tortoise and a lizard. In English, the children are starting ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ and they are so excited to include key facts that they have learnt.
