Applications are invited from practising and committed Catholics for the post of Executive Headteacher for St Aloysius’ Catholic Infant School and St Aloysius’ Catholic Junior School, both schools are part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust.
St Aloysius’ was named as Primary School of the Year at the 2021 Times Educational Supplement (TES) Awards with judges commenting on the “joyful warmth” and high standards. The award celebrates the success of the school where the needs of the children are central to the philosophy under which every child is encouraged to develop a sense of personal value and achievement.
The successful candidate will have the ambition, drive and expertise to ensure that St Aloysius’ Catholic Infant School and St Aloysius’ Catholic Junior School continue to thrive as an outstanding school and can be assured of excellent support from the Schools, Trust central team, the Diocese and partner schools.
Both schools are part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. Currently there are twenty six schools with a plan for this to increase to thirty four by July 2022.
